GALLERY KTOは、東京を拠点とし、新宿と原宿に展示スペースを構える現代アートギャラリーです。2019年の開設以来、高松次郎、ケニー・シャーフ、ベルント・コーバーリングといった国際的に評価の高いアーティストの展覧会を開催するとともに、現代アートに新たな視点をもたらす新進・中堅アーティストの発掘と支援にますます注力しています。

私たちは既成のトレンドに流されることなく、独自の芸術言語を持つアーティストを紹介し、展覧会、出版、国際的なコラボレーションを通じて、彼らの長期的な成長を支援することに尽力しています。所属アーティストの多くは主に絵画を制作していますが、当ギャラリーは彫刻、インスタレーション、写真、その他の現代メディアにまたがる学際的な表現も積極的に取り入れています。

近年は、特にアジアを中心に国際的なアートフェアへの参加や共同プロジェクトを通じて、日本国外への活動を拡大しており、日本のアーティストが世界中の観客や批評的議論と関わる機会を創出しています。地域の芸術活動と国際的な文脈を結びつけることで、当ギャラリーは持続可能な文化交流を築き、進化し続ける現代アートの風景に貢献することを目指しています。さらに、メインのギャラリースペースに加え、東京の複数の会場で展覧会を企画し、年間約40回の展覧会を開催しています。
こうした活動を通じて、当ギャラリーは、アーティスト、作品、そして観客の間に有意義な出会いを生み出すとともに、現代美術の実践の継続的な発展を支援することを目指しています。

GALLERY KTO is a contemporary art gallery based in Tokyo, with exhibition spaces in Shinjuku and Harajuku. Since in 2019, the gallery has presented exhibitions by internationally recognized artists such as Jiro Takamatsu, Kenny Scharf, and Bernd Koberling, while increasingly focusing on discovering and supporting emerging and mid-career artists whose practices offer fresh perspectives within contemporary art.

Rather than following established trends, We are committed to introducing artists with distinctive artistic languages and fostering long-term development through exhibitions, publications, and international collaborations. While many of our represented artists work primarily in painting, the gallery actively embraces interdisciplinary practices that extend across sculpture, installation, photography, and other contemporary media.

In recent years, we has expanded its activities beyond Japan through participation in international art fairs and collaborative projects, particularly in Asia, creating opportunities for Japanese artists to engage with global audiences and critical discourse. By connecting local artistic practices with international contexts, the gallery seeks to build sustainable cultural exchange and contribute to the evolving landscape of contemporary art.

Alongside its primary gallery spaces, GALLERY KTO organizes exhibitions across multiple venues in Tokyo, presenting approximately fourty exhibitions annually. 
Through these activities, the gallery aims to cultivate meaningful encounters between artists, artworks, and audiences while supporting the continued growth of contemporary artistic practice.
